Geneva Trading is seeking an IT Operations Analyst who has experience in Linux and Windows for our Chicago, IL location. This individual will be providing support for our production trading applications, as well as daily technical support to all managers and staff.

Geneva Trading is continuing to grow as an organization and always improving and developing new tools and technology to remain competitive in the trading industry.

What You'll Need 

• Solid troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ad-hoc requests - report and forward to appropriate hiring managers
• Experience supporting Linux and Windows platforms
• SQL, Python, and Bash scripting experience is a plus – write queries, implement updates and database maintenance
• Prior experience supporting critical, high-performance applications, process monitoring, and troubleshooting is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in supporting electronic trading systems for a financial firm is a highly preferred
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Be self-motivated and continually look to improve current technology, operation, and support functions
• Take ownership, be accountable, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Handle pressure and time constraints well while meeting deadlines
• Have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize on the fly
