This is a remote position. To help our teams work together effectively, this role requires you to be located in US time zones or in the east coast of Australia.
Your future team
We're looking for a Procurement Process and Governance Manager to lead our procurement policy, process and governance team.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Procurement Excellence, and join Atlassian's global procurement team consisting of a highly performing, collaborative group of professionals. You'll lead a team of dedicated analysts and managers focused on designing efficient end-to-end procurement processes that provide a high-quality business experience.
As a leader in the procurement team, you will work with multiple teams across Atlassian to set the vision for providing an efficient and engaging service to our customers. You'll develop an in-depth understanding of our customers, implement process efficiencies, and execute programs to better engage with our customers.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $151,800 - $202,300
Zone B: $136,600 - $182,100
Zone C: $126,000 - $167,900
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What you'll do
- Manage a diverse team of procurement professionals and develop individual growth plans
- Develop partnerships within procurement, our teams and our customers to understand end-to-end procurement process and opportunities for improvement
- Manage customer insight initiatives to better understand the requirements of our customers and opportunities for process improvement
- Implement process improvement initiatives, including new ways of working.
- Manage procurement customer engagement programs to improve process understanding, compliance and adoption with customers
- Manage oversight of OKRs and other strategic programs
- Manage M&A procurement integration activities
Your background
- 7 + years of experience in procurement related roles
- Detailed end-to-end understanding of procurement process
- Experience writing executive summaries
- History of collaborating well with partners to develop a culture of getting to "yes"
- Success with iterating to an outcome
- Passion to understand Atlassian's products, customers, culture, and business models.
- Experience translating customer needs into complex requirements and evaluating the impact of any changes to procurement process
