About the Team:
The Marketing function will reinvigorate the Illinois Lottery brand through the use of innovative, insight-led marketing techniques. This will include the development of a full range of communications, enhanced game propositions as well as social media and digital marketing.
Position Overview:
Within Camelot Illinois, the Product Manager - Instant Games is responsible for supporting delivery of the product range strategy and launching high quality products into market to satisfy and grow consumer demand.
Responsibilities:
- An enthusiasm and ability to put consumer needs at the heart of instant lottery games
- Owns the Instant Ticket product and range strategy, ensuring that the category complies with regulations at all times .
- Required to create a rolling Instant Ticket game plan and own the end-to-end game development and production process for delivering high quality, innovative products to market.
- Work with the Insights Team and Instant Ticket vendor to manage the new product development research program in-line with the product strategy and game production timelines.
- Coordinate the end-to-end process and manage the deliverables with internal staff and external vendors for launching new Instant Ticket games from planning through to game closure.
- Accurately forecast stock requirements to ensure high stock sell-through levels.
- Partner with the Instant Ticket vendor to organize and optimize stock inventory levels at retail.
- Evaluate the performance of individual games and the overall category, ensuring that findings are considered as part of the range strategy and future game development.
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline.
- Previous Product Management Experience.
- Proven ability to challenge the status quo and translate external thinking and trends into relevant insights and actions.
- Thorough understanding of research techniques and consumer behavior, sufficient to brief and interpret research.
- Demonstrably strong influencing skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships, comfortable with talking to a range of stakeholders.
Preferred:
- A detailed understanding of each key element of developing and launching Instant Tickets: game design, playstyles, prize structures, programming parameters, printing processes, supply chain processes, sales systems and stock management/forecasting.
- A builder of ideas. The ability to see the potential in a range of ideas and a passion for curating them to make them real. Having the eye for a commercial opportunity – be able to create value through proposition development and be able to maximize the opportunity.
- Strong planning, organizing and time management skills.
- Ability to deliver clear, concise and relevant verbal and written communications to a broad range of stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrable analytical skills and proven ability to interpret/analyze complex data to inform marketing and related commercial decisions.
- Experience working within the Microsoft Suites and/or Google Suite technologies.
