Shiftgig is hiring a Director of B2B Products. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team dedicated to ensuring the business users on our platform have a great experience. You’ll be in charge of end-to-end product strategy, conceptualization, market validation, execution, delivery, and measurement. We are looking for an experienced product pro who is passionate about creating intuitive, beautiful, and polished experiences that solve real-world business problems.

Role / Responsibilities

As Director of B2B Products, you’ll:

• Develop a deep understanding of your users’ needs to identify and fill product gaps, generate ideas to drive grow market share, improve user experience and generate revenue growth
• Conduct market validation exercises on new opportunities
• Own your roadmap, defining short- and long-term product priorities based on ROI and business/user impact
• Create buy-in for your product vision
• Identify problems and opportunity spaces; work with your squad on hypothesis solutions to prototype and test
• Rally squads to deliver solutions quickly and iterate
• Drive launches, working collaboratively with product/ engineering/data science, marketing, and sales 
• Define, impact, and report on key metrics
• Build/manage a team of product professionals to help realize your vision and own subcomponent parts, as appropriate
• Support marketing and sales to ensure we have effective promotional messaging that aligns with the product strategy 
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Become an expert on the competitive landscape in our space 
• Conduct product demos and training as needed to evangelize and educate others about the products and features your team has built
• Desired Experience / Qualifications

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

• 7-10 years of product experience 
• Experience building/managing teams
• Proven ability to generate product strategy and effectively advocate for it, including market validation
• Track record of successful product lifecycle management including launching new revenue lines
• Great judgment, analytical skills, and ability to think strategically 
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to define, prioritize, manage, and execute on product initiatives with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment 
• Experience building strong relationships with business stakeholders, designers, and engineers
• Experience supporting sales and marketing teams 
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to empathize with users of all types
• Knowledge of best practices around the use of data to learn about and improve products
• Rigorous attention to detail
• Experience with Agile / Scrum and related tools 
• Nice to have:
  • Experience with a marketplace business, platform business, or data-intensive products
  • Experience at a high growth company
