Senior Product Manager - Experts

As the Lead Product Manager for Experts, you will own the roadmap for an entirely new expert app / portal for Tegus. You will be making the most of this “green field” opportunity to allow experts to do more on our platform - from managing their profile to building their reputation. This expert app will be key to building a deeper, ongoing relationship with our expert community, and will allow us to better serve our internal Content teams (Operations, Compliance, Finance) by unlocking a self-service option that puts our experts in control. This is a key strategic role that sits at the intersection of some of our largest internal functions and has the power to unlock several new innovations that help us become the preferred network for the best experts in the world while also pushing the expert economy forward.
Responsibilities
- You will work with stakeholders across the organization, and directly with our customers, to understand our business, our market, and the needs of our users.
- You will help shape the roadmap for our product and the process by which that roadmap is realized. You will partner with your Engineering, Data, and Design counterparts to understand the needs and motivations of our experts and align resources to solve core user problems.
- You will partner with our Content teams (Operations, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders) to better understand their needs and support these internal teams with product improvements.
- You will be a strategic contributor within your product space, leading problem solving across larger or more undefined product areas.
- You focus on the big picture to get strategic alignment and ensure a quality holistic experience that has no gaps while being responsible for translating the vision into discrete iterative deliverables.
- You will build consensus across diverse teams through effective communication and facilitation techniques to solicit feedback from peers, partners, and leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience working closely with engineers, designers, and data scientists at a Consumer or B2B software company that has seen success at scale.
- Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills - able to manage stakeholders up, down, and sideways.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias toward action and customer focused innovation. You thrive on challenges and not be deterred by difficult situations. You work proactively rather than reactively.
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; willingness to get into the details and drive clarity from ambiguity.
- Bonus if you you have experience working with localization, data taxonomies, or data classification.
