The Opportunity
Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Product Architect to join our Events Team where you'll join a team of Product Engineers field professionals who love what they do. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Group Sales/envision team where you'll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role
We are looking for a product Architect to join a motivated team focused on designing and delivering a cutting edge Headless Technology Platform to support our Meetings and Events website Content Distribution needs.
Position responsibilities:• Building new application components and templates to enable delivery of omni channel content, analysis of requirements, component design, development of the code, and testing of programs and interfaces.• Develop powerful features such as multi-site and multi-channel delivery, content aggregation & syndication, multi-lingual support, automated workflow management, social media etc.• Create and consume Headless REST and GraphQL services and APIs• Participate in code reviews and automated testing• Work in an agile team, committing to estimates and delivering within fixed sprints• Troubleshoot production issues• Provide support for Authors in day-to-day operations
Qualifications
Experience Required:
Deep knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and AEM Core components (Example: Sling, OSGI, JCR, Dispatcher).• Be well-versed with AEM workflows setup and maintenance as well as User and Group Management• Ability to fine-tune AEM application for optimal performance, including configuring Threads, Heap, GC Policy. FEO, JS and CSS minification and optimization.• Familiar with application profilers• Strong Java (OSGi, JSP, Servlets) and web development (HTML, JS, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.) background with experience building cutting edge web & responsive mobile experiences. Hands-on experience with Sightly (AEM Templating language) and CoralUI/TouchUI frameworks• Experience with working on Adobe Experience Manager Headless Solutions would be a plus.
Experience Preferred: • Proven track record to delivering enterprise initiatives working across organizational boundaries and building strong technical delivery teams• Strong sense of ownership and accountability with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes that balance technical and business goals• Broad web and digital knowledge, an aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving as well as mentoring/guiding other members of the team.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to establish goals and set clear expectations, prioritize activities, and follow through to completion
