Product Catalog Analyst
Purchasing Platform is looking for a Product Catalog Analyst to help our Vendor Operations team create and manage our product catalogs within the marketplace. You will be part of a highly skilled team of sourcing professionals, utilizing a hands on approach to practice resourceful, efficient procurement methods; in doing so, you will be an integral part of building stronger relationships with our clients.
Experience and Background
- 1+ years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, or related field; preferably in tech or a startup
- Sound business acumen, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as detail orientation
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Resourceful and proactive in achieving success in the face of ambiguity, while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent project management and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Key Responsibilities
- Import, troubleshoot, and upload vendor catalogs.
- Work and collaborate with all sales divisions for product and catalog needs.
- Coordinate with vendors and catalog maintenance: pricing updates, discontinued items, and product replacements.
- Excel experience a must.
