So, what’s the role?

We’re looking for a Product Designer to support the exploration, strategy, and design of new features with the goal of changing how home insurance is purchased and how agents administer polici es. You'll be responsible for prototyping, designing, building, and iterating on ideas alongside your design and engineering teammates.

A day in the life could include:

- Assist with designing and prototyping product features and improvements

- Your focus will be split between our customer-facing funnel and policy administration system used by our internal operations team

- Monitor daily analytics and help identify leaky parts of the funnel

- Help design concepts for experiments aimed at increasing conversion at numerous points in the customer funnel

- Design and prototype new solutions to complex problems in our home grown policy administration system

I’ve got the skills...but do I have the necessary ones?

- Experience working on SaaS products or consumer-facing apps

- Exceptional eye for detail

- You have a portfolio of work that shows you've designed and shipped products relying on customer research and data

- Previous experience working with bespoke design systems and interface guidelines

- Comfortable iterating on designs based on feedback, data, and insights

- You have a strong knowledge of industry standard prototyping and design tools

- You're curious about the problems Kin is solving in the home insurance space

- Experience implementing pixel perfect designs is a plus

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git is a plus
