Job Description

As a Product Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that Daxko Products deliver maximum value to customers and meet market requirements. In this position, you will fulfill the Product Owner role on the Agile Product Team.

The Product Manager reports to the Group Product Manager or Director, Product Management.

In your day-to-day, you will also: 

  • Operate as a trusted subject-matter expert in the market and understand, in-depth, the target market and user base and use this knowledge to guide product decisions.
  • Work within the Product Management team, and directly with customers, to understand market needs 
  • Maintain deep knowledge of user behavior. Maintain dashboards, draw insights from analytics, and actively add/tweak metrics to answer new questions.
  • Own all feedback channels (feature requests, churn, NPs, etc.) and proactively gather feedback directly through targeted interviews, surveys, workshops, etc. Draw insights from this data to inform strategy and prioritization.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of direct competitor products and the market's perception of them. Use knowledge of competitors to inform strategy and prioritization.
  • Autonomously drive validation of new features and roadmap initiatives through discovery techniques.
  • Maintain businesses cases for roadmap initiatives to show how they align with company goals and objectives.
  • Prioritize the backlog based on business value and serve as the point person for engineers and UX designers.
  • Create and track product KPIs for new features and roadmap initiatives that map to company goals and ensure focus on solving the right problems.
  • Ensure the success of new feature launches by forecasting release dates, training business teams, and equipping marketing team with supporting assets.
  • Understand your product's pricing and revenue streams, and use that knowledge to drive strategy in new feature development.
  • Understand the definition of your addressable market, and the market share of your product and competitors.
  • Ensure tech and business teams have a clear understanding of the product vision.
  • Up to 25% Travel Required

Qualifications

  • One (1) to two (2) years of relevant product management, product owner, or business analysis experience in an agile software environment
  • Experience collaborating with software engineers and UX designers to build and launch digital products
  • Experience with agile software development frameworks
  • Experience translating requirements into user stories effectively, creating "shared understanding" between product, engineering, design, and test team members
  • Experience managing or delivering upon a roadmap.
  • Basic knowledge of web & native mobile software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
  • Identify complex problems and information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Proficient in conflict resolution and able to navigate situations where customers or employees are unhappy with the company
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain exceptional cross-team communication
  • Associate's Degree in related field or equivalent experience

Bonus points for: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Lean Startup methods and tools 
  • Experience using frameworks to create and validate hypotheses based on market research
  • Enterprise product management experience 
  • Scrum Product Owner certification a plus 
  • Experience working with remote teams
