ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join the Marketplace Services team. Marketplace Services is an emerging business within ShopRunner focused on adding value for our brand and retail partners by making it easy to sell their products on new marketplaces. We’re passionate about helping our partners stay ahead of and define the shift in ecommerce shopping, and believe that marketplaces play an important role in the future of retail. This role will focus on optimizing the partner experience to expand on the value of our launched marketplaces.

We are seeking an organized and experience-focused Product Manager who can understand partner problems, collaborate to create solutions, and help translate into technical requirements for our engineering teams. The ideal candidate is adaptable, skilled at prioritization, and can drive multiple features or projects forward in parallel. You might be a great fit if you empathize with the challenges retailers face and are excited by finding ways to leverage our technology to solve these problems. You’ll work with our product, engineering, design, sales and partner success teams to scale our alpha product offerings into best-in-class solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Product ownership of the partner experience for launched marketplaces, taking into consideration the end-customer’s interaction with our partners’ presence on these marketplaces
  • Complete partner interviews or join partner calls to understand pain points of our partners and how our technology can drive incremental value for these partners
  • Build cases for new features or products that enhance experience for customers or partners
  • Identify opportunities for partner retention and partner growth within the marketplace product
  • Propose solutions for external interfaces to improve upon the partner experience
  • Collaborate regularly with design and engineering to launch new features
  • Define and prioritize product feature backlog as part of agile software development
  • Develop a process for prioritizing across and within multiple marketplaces
  • Drive business results and improve key metrics
  • Create and communicate the roadmap for each marketplace

ABOUT YOU

  • 2-4 years of product management experience, B2B or SaaS experience preferred
  • Experience managing sprint work for engineering teams and communicating technical requirements to business partners (internally and externally)
  • Proven track record of delivering features from inception to delivery
  • Comfortable with both back-end infrastructure as well as front-end end user experience
  • Strong organization skills: Able to gather information from a variety of sources and structure information to inform your product roadmap
  • Strong communication skills: Able to present new concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders, executives, and retail partners to promote and gain feedback on features and products
  • Partner-oriented: Excited by talking with partners and our partner teams to create solutions that add value to our retailer partners’ ecommerce businesses
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and bias toward action
  • Experiencing working for or with a retailer is a nice to have, but not required

We accept you for who you are and consider everyone on an equal opportunity basis without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
