About the Role
NextME is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join us to help drive strategy and deliver new value to our customers.

You must be excited to work with leadership and engineering teams to grow the company by improving our core product offering. We’re looking for someone who carries leadership experience and is able to make thoughtful and outcome-oriented product decisions. You enjoy wearing multiple hats, and are excited about the prospect of working for a startup.

Qualifications

* 3+ years of relevant work as a Product Manager, with experience in web-based technology products and services

* Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making

* A bias for action when managing competing priorities in a way that keeps the team focused, while demonstrating progress to stakeholders

* Track record of anticipating/identifying possible project hurdles and ensuring timely delivery and resolution

* Experience participating in technical discussions and running meetings with engineers and stakeholders

* Ability to use data and analysis for product planning and understanding impact

* Advanced written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Skills & Attributes

* UI/UX chops and familiarity with Figma or Sketch

* Knowledge of design patterns and best practices

* Proficiency in frontend development

* General experience with DevOps

Responsibilities

* Assist in establishing the company’s strategic product vision and develop a clear roadmap, weighing changing requirements to prioritize and maintain a backlog of impactful work

* Develop a deep understanding of NextME’s technology and UX/UI design standards

* Create thoughtful and thorough project specs for engineers to use to guide their work

* Work in a consultative fashion with other department heads, such as engineering, marketing, production and operations

* Help establish a reliable product delivery process by advocating for new tools and processes

* Leverage data to inform decision making and measure the impact of product work

* Develop a deep understanding of NextME’s customer base and their needs and wants within the product

* Provide leadership in a fashion that supports the company’s culture, mission and values
