Milyli is looking for an experienced Product Manager.

Milyli is hiring an experienced product manager with a proven history of developing and validating audiences for new product lines. We are looking for someone ready to exercise their knowledge in identifying and validating existing, new, and emerging markets. In addition, an ideal candidate brings experience choosing the activities and opportunities that identify potential users and promote software product engagement.

Milyli is currently expanding our redaction technology and legal industry experience by engaging a new market with that technology. You will create programs leading this expansion by connecting with users, accurately assessing their business needs and challenges, and then informing product development and product marketing with those insights.

What kind of people are you looking for?

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 6+ years of SaaS marketing/product management experience on a successful product management team

  • Ability to work strategically as a self-starter with independent decision making

  • Ensuring operational delivery while having a hands-on approach with a small team

  • Proven record of partnering closely with cross-functional teams

  • Outstanding communication skills with focuses on writing, presentation, and understanding audience segmentation

  • The ability to dig into data and translate that information into insights that drive product direction and development

  • Excellent program/project management skills with the ability to create consensus and alignment across stakeholders

  • Understanding of tools and techniques for gathering quantitative and qualitative insights from the market on why users engage with our websites and applications

Nice to have:

  • 4+ years of legal industry experience

  • Show us that you’ve created a product campaign that leads to product roadmap decisions

What is the work like?

The Blackout team strives to improve how legal review teams can identify and redact sensitive information such as those required for GDPR or FOIA requests.  As a part of the product management team, you will actively work to identify, build out, and validate potential markets. Your research and insight will drive the product direction while influencing critical pivots that help us better align to problems and challenges the industry is facing. You will collaborate with marketing, sales, and other product managers to share best practices, workflows and collaborate on our overall product strategy.

What will my days be like?

You will:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape, trends, competitor capabilities, and user preferences

  • Conduct market research to better understand how we can ensure our roadmap and feature development keeps up with changing user need

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to create collateral such as infographics and user buyer journeys as well as collateral for new features or value propositions

  • Serve as the communication conduit between sales, marketing, and product to ensure that everyone is aligned on proof points to show how users work with sensitive data and use technology to solve their problems

  • Create and execute innovative strategies and marketing plans that drive awareness, trials, and product adoption

  • Become the go-to-market expert informed by user research, market insights, and a deep product understanding

  • Act as an advocate for our customers and users

  • Align product pricing with value

  • Help research and define new market opportunities

What else?

  • This is a full-time position.

  • There is minimal travel required for this position.

  • You must be able to work in the U.S legally.
