Product Manager
The Role
- Partner with product leadership, clients, technology partners, and Fusion solution owners to deliver the vision, strategy, and development of our solutions
- Work with Product Managers in other solution areas to identify what we can leverage, extend, and optimize existing or planned functionality for existing clients and new prospects across verticals
- Gather, prioritize and define requirements (while actively grooming backlog) into executable epics and user stories for engineering with 3-4 release horizon
- Create product/feature plans for each release, including acceptance criteria, use cases, success metrics, etc.
- Collaborate with Customers, Researchers, and Designers on developing and testing innovative product ideas
- Create base documentation (content and features and delta docs) and work with Product Marketing to enable Services and Sales teams
- Create and manage Knowledge Base content, such as feature articles, demo videos, how-to, and tip sheets
- Collaborate with engineering team on release management, understanding status, risks, and dependencies to project completion
- Develop a deep understanding of user profiles and client needs to design technical solutions to business problems
- Develop knowledge in all areas of the Fusion Framework System and related products, and how they enable client organizations to build resiliency
- Develop expertise in the Salesforce.com Lightning Platform declarative ("point-and-click") development tools (authoring code is not required)
- Lead product/feature pilot and beta projects with customers
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience (product management role, technical support, or product specialist in B2B or enterprise software company, business continuity, risk management or compliance)
- Tech Savvy and Technologically Curious. You enjoy playing with and learning new platforms and environments
- Strong quantitative skills
- Understanding of contemporary software delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Strong writing skills, ability to create technical product documentation and instructional materials
- Ability to be a self-starter; demonstrating the ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple teams
- Passionate about working in a small team and fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
- Customer focus: has deep curiosity about customer needs, as well as a track record in building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
