Description

Seeking a highly motivated person to represent business analyst and functional expertise needs for the Customer Identify/Customer Value section.  Primary responsibilities for this person will be to work with the entire enterprise on insuring the Asset Tracker (AT) and Customer Access Management systems (CAMS) are in synch with ongoing business requirement needs and are being maintained in a quality and timely manner.  This person will utilize Agile software development methodology concepts in evolving these systems to continually adapt to current business needs.  This person determines the roadmap for these two systems by working with multiple application and business groups to understand the capabilities needed.  This person must understand the key concepts of the existing requirements for determining the fit of new requests.  These systems are very data oriented so query and data analysis skills are required for evaluating the state of the data and the impact of potential requests.  As product owner, this role participates in scrum meetings and processes with the technical team for managing the workload and must have a good understanding of the VSTS software tool suite.  This person will collaborate with the GIS directory services team heavily on roadmaps and integration points for the CAMS system.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Working with multiple application and business teams through the enterprise to find solutions for new business requirements for the systems.

Maintaining product roadmaps of future functional capabilities

Managing sprint and release content

Creating presentations about systems and capabilities

Participating in issue resolution triaging

Product owner for agile processes and methodologies working with a mostly offshore team of technical developers.

Collaborating with the GIS global directory team

Running data analysis queries for requirement development and issue resolutions

Maintaining work tasks and VSTS management of Stories, EPICs, PBI's

Leading UAT testing processes and resources

 

Additional Information:

Relocation is not available for this position

Travel requirement is 25%

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree required

-2+ years' experience as Agile Product Owner or Scrum Master 

 

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

-Experience working in an area of an organization that brings strong knowledge of project management concepts.

-Experience with data management, database query analysis tools, SQL, Visual Studio Team -System (VSTS), SQL Server Management studio, or other query analysis tools utilizing SQL data language

-Deep knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and pivot table expertise

-Experience working in an organizational setting requiring domain knowledge of at least two functional business areas

-Highly developed problem-solving ability and critical thinking to translate requested actions into correct actions with multiple systems

-HTML

-Tableau or COGNOS

-Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage complexities and competing priorities.

-Global Directory application integration experience

-Microsoft Azure PAAS system concepts

-Cat Product Line and Brand knowledge (Cat Brand portfolio)

-Experience working with the Asset Tracker system.

-Experience working with the Customer Access Management System or the Universal Customer Identification system.
