What You'll Bring
5+ of experience in a product management or commensurate role with both strategy and execution experience in data-driven performance marketing products.
In-depth knowledge of direct marketing advertising processes and techniques: segmentation, list processing, execution, and campaign performance measurement.
Familiarity with data management concepts including data analysis, profiling, matching, data definition, graph and relational modeling, and data quality.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively including with remote teams within and across teams and be flexible within a dynamic environment with strong energy, drive and enthusiasm balanced with patience, persistence, and diplomacy.
Experience working in agile development teams and proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional, highly matrixed environment.
What We’d Love to See:
Experience writing and presenting business cases and product documentation is desirable.
Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), Tableau, JIRA, etc.
Prior hands-on product management experience within the financial services and/or direct mail marketing sector.
B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent experience
Impact You'll Make
The Product Strategy Manager will fill a key role on the fast growing TransUnion Marketing Solutions Team (a start up with the full backing of TransUnion), reporting to the VP, Product Management. In this role you will focus on the strategy, planning, and execution and management of TransUnion’s Non-digital Marketing Solution Products. This is a both strategic and hands-on position, and you will serve as a key decision-maker with room to influence others. On the day-to-day basis, below are some of the ways you can contribute to make an impact:
Product Strategy – Assess inputs from customers, TU sales leadership, market trends, and competitive landscape to develop the non-digital marketing products strategy. Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and raise awareness internally of TransUnion’s competitive position in the digital ecosystem.
Planning and Roadmaps – develop and manage the product roadmaps for integrating non-digital products into the marketing solutions technology stack. Monitor product adoption and ongoing use and vertical market trends to detect potential enhancement opportunities.
Subject Matter Expert - Become a subject matter expert for non-digital marketing products and consult with sales, product marketing, and solutions engineering teams.
Stories and Requirements - write detailed requirements and collaborate with engineers on story development. Sign off on business acceptance testing.
Compliance - Manage compliance review of non-digital product solutions.
Collaborate – Partner with marketing solutions digital products team and across other product groups to develop and integrate non-digital solutions into a seamless customer experience.
