What You'll BringExperience working directly with internal and external customers, stakeholders and project contributors to uncover product and business needs and opportunities
Experience working on B2B2C data-driven marketing solutions and products with an emphasis on digital marketing and workflows connected to the larger MarTech ecosystem
Good interpersonal skills, experience presenting to, and communicating with groups of customers and/or executive stakeholders
High degree of intellectual curiosity with the ability to manage large tasks and projects without oversight or detailed direction
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, and a history of using them to draft business cases and achieve measurable success
What We'd Love to See:
Demonstrated ability to compile data points from many touchpoints including: customers, competitors, industry analysts, partners, sales reps and news feeds and synthesize findings into a cohesive, data-backed thesis
A talent and passion for written communication and clear presentations that convey complex analytical assumptions to varied audiences
Experience working across a large, matrix-governed organization and/or working across siloes to drive a project or initiative to conclusion
Experience working with and understanding the challenges facing data-driven marketers in both digital and non-digital capacities
Domain expertise in one or more of these industries: Insurance, Business Services, Financial Services or Healthcare is a plus
8+ years of progressive experience in product management and setting product strategy

The product strategist is responsible for definition of the product vision and the long term strategic product road-map for the Marketing Solutions business. Your ability to uncover market needs and translate them into specific product capabilities will have a significant impact on the future success of TransUnion Marketing Solutions.
Expectations in the first 90 days:
Become proficient on TransUnion Marketing Solutions Group (MS)’s capabilities and proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their priorities and challenges, and identity areas of opportunity
Assess the competitive landscape and develop intelligence on existing and emerging competition.
Work across the internal matrix organization to maximize the value proposition of identified opportunities and define development road-map.
What you’ll accomplish beyond 90 days:
Develop Product Concepts and Business Cases Originate and define product concepts and assess and validate identified opportunities
Support internal customers in the development of product concepts and business cases, identify cross-market opportunities and validate opportunities early on in the cycle
Work across the internal matrix organization to shepherd business cases through the product origination and prioritization process
Contribute to Strategic Road-map Support and recommend product priorities for new business cases and product extensions proposed for the strategic product road-map
Recommend pricing and packaging strategies
Assist in the assessment of build, buy, or partner approaches to achieving strategic road-map objectives
Influence and inform strategy decisions based on information garnished from internal and external stakeholders.
