To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $137,300 - $183,100
Zone B: $123,600 - $164,800
Zone C: $114,000 - $152,000
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Atlassian is the leading maker of teamwork productivity software including Jira, Confluence, and Trello. As part of our brand mission to unleash the potential of every team, Atlassian has created a free resource for all teams called the Atlassian Team Playbook. The Playbook helps teams run workshops to help them with common team challenges including goal setting, team alignment, retrospectives, communication, and more. We are looking for an experienced and media-savvy content marketing manager to develop content for, publish, and promote the Atlassian Team Playbook.
As a Senior Content Marketing Manager on the Brand Content team, you will drive the publishing calendar for the Team Playbook, working inside the organization to ship the best new teamwork Plays to our audience and promote the Playbook brand widely through the website, social media, and events. The ideal candidate has deep background in content marketing including SEO and content development as well as social media content creation, and working with subject matter experts and or company spokespeople. You will work with a cross-functional team across marketing, research, design, advocacy, customer support, and more.
What you'll do

  • Develop the roadmap for Playbook content creation and distribution across our channels
  • Draft and edit new Play content and promotional content
  • Work with our Play evangelists on their social media content
  • Coordinate with the Atlassian Learning team to turn Plays into learning courses for our customers
  • Work with the SEO team and an external agency to continuously update Plays for best practices in SEO
  • Own analytics and reporting of Play performance, and share updates on goal completion with stakeholders
  • Develop thought leadership content from Play creators and about the Atlassian Playbook that make it a resource knowledge workers want to visit and follow
  • Create strong partnerships with an amazing group of cross-functional partners across marketing, research, advocacy, community, and more.
  • Work across the Brand Content team to bring Play content to life on the website, blog, social media, and more.

On your first day, we'll expect you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in Content Marketing
  • Experience in a variety of content marketing roles: writer, editor, publisher, strategist
  • SEO and social media skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and influence skills with colleagues, customers, and partners
  • Experience working with design partners and content management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
