About the Role

Shiftgig is looking for a Senior Product Manager to partner with our enterprise clients to deliver product solutions to drive shared partnership outcomes. In this role, you’ll own the prioritization of our product strategy and translate our clients’ needs to a product roadmap which you will deliver alongside our tight-knit engineering team. Data is at the core of our partnership strategy and driving outcomes through roadmap decisions is how you’ll succeed. 

As Product Manager, you’ll:

• Work directly with clients to define partnership roadmaps and outcomes to support their business needs
• Partner with internal stakeholders in refining implementation and support processes 
• Understand clients’ needs through various user research and discovery methods
• Validate product solutions to prioritize improvements that will maximize customer outcomes
• Define the strategy to shape your roadmap. Present the product strategy to internal and external stakeholders 
• Write user-centered requirements and work with client stakeholders to prioritize them, coming up with creative ways to introduce value early and to test ideas with end-users
• Rally engineering to deliver and iterate on solutions quickly
• Conduct product demos and trainings as needed to evangelize and educate end-users and prospects about the product

Desired Experience / Qualifications

We have a tightly-knit and very collaborative product and engineering team. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated and able to work both independently and with others. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of product management experience
• Ability to incorporate data into product decisions. Knowledge of best practices around product analytics and goal setting 
• Experience partnering with strategic clients and cross-functional teams involved in serving their daily needs 
• Track record of successful product lifecycle management
• Great judgment, analytical skills, and ability to think strategically 
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
• Proven ability to generate product strategy and effectively advocate for it
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to empathize with users of all types
• Startup experience preferred
