We are looking for the right individual with a proven track record with Enterprise SaaS that can bring the passion, strong work ethic and expertise needed to lead a maturing Product team in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be a senior leader of project44 and will play a pivotal role in shaping our future.

Key Accountabilities

Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop and mentor the product management and business analyst team by delegating responsibility, empowering decision making, and fostering collaborative communications
  • Foster an environment of innovation and encourage team members to experiment and take calculated risk

Product Vision

  • Build and maintain a company-wide product roadmap, vision, and execution plan
  • Work directly with the CTO and Sr. leadership to build out the 3 year product strategy and growth plan
  • Own and maintain the external facing product roadmap(s) for various audiences
  • Work collaboratively with all leaders within the company to build the right products at the right time taking into account all of the network and industry variables, remaining focused on our company goals
  • Leverage strong understanding of Enterprise SaaS product business to drive company-wide best practices
  • Analyze the network effect impacts of our business model and drive strategy to best utilize it within our product offerings

SDLC Execution

  • Be able to work directly with stakeholders to provide business cases for new and existing products to take to the Product Steering Committee
  • Drive p-44’s quarterly planning process in association with head of engineering, other technology leadership individuals, and the Product Steering Committee
  • Always be mindful of execution excellence and optimizing the way we deliver product
  • Interface collaboratively with your peers within Engineering and UX to drive unified SDLC processes
  • Own and run the product management steering committee and all other applicable business interaction rituals
  • Work with the appropriate stakeholders to guide the release or launch of new products of various sizes and scopes
  • Be able to dig in a define business requirements as needed, and help to ensure the overall quality of our product lines

Go to Market Strategy

  • Interface directly with Product Marketing to drive our competitive marketing, pricing positions relative to the industry, and overall product positioning
  • Work closely with Marketing to generate messaging that will guide the development of marketing collateral, white papers, presentations, and demo materials
  • Be a liaison with sales for new engagements, RFP strategy as it relates to the product roadmap, etc.
  • Grow and maintain market analysis materials including trends and competitive analysis

Thought Leadership

  • Quickly become an industry leader within the freight logistics space, gaining knowledge from both internal and external sources
  • Be the face of the product organization both internally and externally 

Requirements & Preferred Skills

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, sometimes on short notice
  • Experience working within a fast-growth enterprise SaaS technology company
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management with at least 4 years at the leadership level
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • Experience with freight logistics, transportation, or supply-chain, preferred
  • Experience leading a product team, paired with decoupled engineering teams
  • Ability to be strategic and roll up your sleeves to accomplish what needs to be done
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as necessary
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
