We have an opportunity at our corporate officesin Chicago for a Program Manager on our Health Solutions team. This isa hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 2 daysa week in the office.

As a Program Manager, you will provide operational program management theAMA's CPT and Guides product portfolio. Works with product managers, the AMA and Health Solutions leadership,engineering, sales, marketing, content and business operations to ensureefficient and reliable management of a portfolio of products. Manages governance activities, projectdeliverables and facilitates regular communications to ensure ongoingtransparency. Will assist in facilitating teamoversight, transparency, updates and performance via tracking and reporting. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Management

  • Create and manage assigned project timelines and maintain project plans, status, and issue reports and integrate into program portfolio and dashboard
  • Build and manage program dashboard
  • Build agendas, coordinate and schedule and moderate quarterly product updates and product governance cadences
  • Report program status regularly and proactively communicate concerns and risks to management; with management's assistance resolve all project issues
  • Create action plans where progress does not meet agreed upon plans; develop and adhere to project governance plan
  • Create Sharepoint or Confluence with organized access to active and archived product program status and documentation

Product Management and Development

  • Provide product owner support to product managers including user story creation and JIRA submission
  • Assist HS Product team with HS Functional Units and Data Labs, and other stakeholders on the technical development/and or business requirements of new products or product features
  • Provide insights on user needs, user experience, and market goals, including lean canvas requirements
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience and needs, identify, and fill product gaps and participate in the generation new ideas that improve product satisfaction
  • Participate in the creation of UAT testing plans and grids and validation of testing results

Project Management and Administration

  • Manage administrative aspects for the product leads including scheduling telephone/face-to-face meetings with product team, technical team, steering committee, and product advisory panel
  • Organizes and participates in the creation of materials for presentations and demonstrations and distributes reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Facilitates regular communication with all internal and external stakeholders, including feeds into governance
  • Manage product project plans to ensure all milestones are met on time and to business specifications

May include other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor's degree required
  2. Minimum 5 years of project or product management experience required
  3. Project management experience required (e.g., developing project plans, load balancing work, scheduling meetings, preparing meeting summaries); planning and organizing skills needed to anticipate, prioritize, and coordinate work assignments
  4. Product Management experience required (e.g. managing a PDLC, Agile concepts (Epics & User Stories, Story Points, and product governance)
  5. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, required
  6. Excellent moderations skills in sessions that include peers and leadership
  7. Exceptional organizational skills with proven ability to manage projects
  8. Ability to work with online and software-based management and content tools.
  9. Ability to analyze and provide solutions to develop and improve processes required.
  10. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work independently as well as in a team in high pressure environments required
  11. Ability to understand general technical and healthcare concepts to apply them to coordination activities
  12. Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of knowledge
  13. Attention to detail and on-time delivery required
