Global Leadership Development Program Manager
About the Role
The Team: The Corporate team unites a variety of functions at Morningstar including design, marketing, finance, quality, human resources, corporate communications, legal, compliance, strategic planning, and technology with the goal of keeping our business running smoothly. Each of these functions plays an essential role in supporting our company's infrastructure, day-to-day operations, and ongoing strategic initiatives.

We are seeking a Learning Program Manager to work in close collaboration with our business leaders and Talent & Culture team to create and implement engaging development programs that are tied to our business and talent strategy from a global perspective. You will deliver the content for our leadership development program that is focused on growing our leaders and maintain strategic training initiatives to be scaled across the organization. The focus is on improving business results by ensuring a strong leadership pipeline and a robust approach to managing talent. This position is based in our Chicago office.
What You'll Do• Own the development and delivery of learning experiences for all Morningstar Leaders at all levels - creating an impactful suite of ongoing learning experiences.• Create innovative and effective learning solutions to better meet the needs of the business. This includes taking inventory of existing curriculum, identifying gaps and developing content for global differences• Leverage digital, mobile and social learning technologies, and look beyond the conventional to create impactful changes in the learning and development space.• Apply a data-driven approach to continuously measuring and improving Morningstar's leadership learning and development offerings.• Support our culture with innovative and proven strategies around onboarding and ongoing education• Work closely with key business leaders to understand objectives and ensure training programs support and align with larger company goals.• Work with Learning Coordinators across regions on the delivery and execution of learning events for Morningstar Leadership Development.• Be a key stakeholder in the delivery of training programs that brings the roadmap and strategy to life. Facilitate working sessions to ensure they are effective use of time and drive organizational impact.• Champion the Leadership Development program to help drive adoption and change management as measured via our employee surveys.• Develop partnerships with outside vendors and internal functional learning organizations.
What We're Looking For• 5+ years of experience• Experience in a leadership role with a demonstrated track record in project management and implementing innovative approaches to talent development challenges.• Experience at a global company where you've developed strong leaders and built a high-performance culture.• Exceptional results orientation with demonstrated personal initiative and customer centric perspectives.• You can navigate and optimize learning solutions within a complex organizational structure.• Adaptable to work with shifting priorities, and with enthusiasm.• Track record of developing and leading training efforts with direct experience in program facilitation and instructional design. Specifically related to Leadership Development.• Extensive experience influencing and gaining commitment from senior leadership and other key stakeholders.• Ability to analyze and interpret data and leverage those insights into critical decisions.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Able to work under tight deadlines and plan, organize and carry out multiple, detailed tasks.
