As a member of the Value Management team, you will provide consulting expertise to help our innovative customers understand and quantify the business value of their ServiceNow investment. Business Value Consultants work closely with our world class Sales and Pre-Sales organizations to help C-Level audiences understand how ServiceNow can fuel their digital transformation journey.
What you get to do in this role:
- Work closely with prospective customers to identify, prioritize and quantify key business drivers and understand how our solutions can help solve their business challenges
- Identify operational and financial metrics impacted by a potential solution and use these metrics to develop a ROI analysis to quantify the strategic value of the ServiceNow platform
- Validate messaging and outcomes are aligned with customer value themes
- Develop and deliver highly engaging presentations to senior level audiences
- Guide sales teams on the scope and types of data / discovery needed to prove a value hypothesis
- Ability to perform qualitative and quantitative research, deriving insights of a given customer account for the sales team
- Document qualitative and non-quantified benefits and impacts
- Assist with developing value messaging associated with targeted account opportunities
- Create reusable assets to help scale the team's reach across the greater ServiceNow organization
- Manage a library of Value Management Team assets include items such as spreadsheets, presentation templates, case examples, and customer stories
In order to qualify for and be successful in this role, you must have:
- BA/BS degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics); MBA is a plus
- 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in Finance, Strategy Consulting, or other analytical roles in a professional services environment
- Natural inquisitiveness, problem-solving, and discovery facilitation skills
- Excellent quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills
- Experience delivering senior level presentations (internally or externally facing)
- Strong executive presence
- Initiative, creativity, and high energy, with the ability to thrive in a start-up paced software company
- Experience in a sales environment would be a plus
- An interest in the technology/software/SaaS space
