Rival Systems is seeking to hire an Associate Project Manager.  This position entails managing the process around implementation, testing, and support of trading and risk management platforms.  This position will be located in our Chicago, Illinois office.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination between engineers, internal departments, customer, and vendors for project deliveries.
• Manage the process of implementation, and testing trading, market data and risk systems enhancements.
• Work closely with the Technical Manager to manage the day to day activities of the development team.
• Work with the QA to create testing plans and ensure new builds are accurately tested before released to production.
• Create release plans and manage the release of new software to the end users.
• Work closely with developers to track work plans for the development team while effectively communicating status to manager.
• Keep a working exchange mandated calendar and keep Technical Manager aware of upcoming events and efforts.
• Perform related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent
• 3+ years experience managing the processes involved with Manage the integrity of all development, test and production environments
• Experience using Jira software
• Scrum and Agile experience  
• Ability to work closely with a development directory and his team 
• Strong understanding of system architecture and design
• Strong commitment to working collaboratively in a team and being held accountable for achieving business goals
• Ability to successfully work in a high-pressure, dynamic trading environment
• Good team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
