Primary Responsibilities

The Customer Supply Planning Manager is responsible leading end-to-end customer event (promotional and new item) tracking and execution. This position is accountable for leading the Customer Supply Planning team including successful execution of the Advanced Order Management process. Essential Functions

  • End-to-end event tracking to include maintenance and delivery of event based trackers.
  • Implement smooth and efficient business processes that support and integrate with the customer.
  • Leveraging relationships with KeHE cross-functional personnel,
  • Provide real-time information around event readiness and performance
  • Maintain and deliver promotional event tracker to internal stakeholders including event readiness
  • Maintain and deliver new item event tracker to internal stakeholders including event readiness
  • Maintain and deliver special event (i.e. Holiday) tracker to internal stakeholders including event readiness
  • Lead and oversee entire AOM processes to create master events and store level ship order allocations
  • Validate AOM event transition to KeHE forecasting (JDA Demand) and procurement (E3) systems
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with KeHE customer demand team, KeHE procurement buyer, and KeHE procurement coordinator team to expedite short lead time events
  • Validate AOM event purchase order creation
  • Validate purchase order ETA will support event timing and coordinate expediting efforts accordingly
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with KeHE procurement team on second level PO confirmations
  • Validate purchase order appointments will support event timing and coordinate expediting efforts accordingly
  • Validate purchase order receipt and put away to support event timing
  • Lead and oversee tracking of store level ship order allocation execution
  • Create a cross-functional environment with clear expectations and transparency
  • Attend customer event readiness meetings to support Customer Demand team
  • Develop event based reporting to include readiness %, vendor performance, service level, forecast accuracy, and inventory impact
  • Manage store level ship order allocation deltas to spread outbound volume accurately
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration with KeHE Customer Care as needed for store order changes
  • Develop and maintain forward looking DC warehouse operations promotional volume projections
  • Achieve overall event based readiness targets
  • Achieve event-based customer service level targets
  • Ensure 100% AOM accuracy

 

 

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or  Supply Chain or related field preferred, equivalant combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of related supply chain experience in grocery sales either chain grocery, independent natural or independent conventional grocery environment.
  • Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively identify long-term issues, develop and implement strategies to address these issues, and linking shorter-term activities to these strategies.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction and performance to KPI’s.
  • Prior experience in food industry and/or code sensitive product environment preferred.

Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:

  • Outstanding analytic skills with demonstrated success organizing, analyzing and accurately interpreting large amounts of data.
  • Forecasting/planning in a high sku, slow moving environment.
  • Prio experience using advance planning or purchasing systems such as JDA Demand,E3, SAP/AP, Manhattan preferred.
  • Prior experience using advance AS400 systems is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in using Excel, Access, Cognos, Powserpoint, and other similiar tools.
  • Prior experience in food industry and/or code sensitive product environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively and effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively identify long-term issues, develop and implement strategies to address those issues,and linking shorter-term activities to these strategies.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Demonstrates the competencies of: financial acumen, ability to collaborate, courage, sense of urgency, and effectively managing complexity.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends
  • Ability and willingness to travel by air and stay overnight to support the requirements of the position.
