Development Pod Program Manager
GoHealth Development Pod Program Managers are leaders of insurance agent teams that sell health or life insurance products to customers. Program Managers are experienced in team coaching, sales techniques, sales production and performance metrics. You will be a proven sales leader, interested in making an impact with agents and passionate in driving performance
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of 3-5 inside sales managers
- Hold yourself and your sales unit accountable to defined metrics and
- Onboard, manage and coach team managers in order to drive improvements across the virtual environment
- Learn and Serve as subject matter expert within the health insurance industry
- Understand GoHealth’s compliance and regulatory needs
- Driving accountability in others to meet their goals and the expectations of their role
- Planning and supporting the development of agents' knowledge, skills, and abilities so that they can grow to meet the expectations
- Consistently driving measurable improvement in agent sales performance
- Active coaching and long-term development and performance improvement
- Taking prompt action to accomplish goals related to individual and team performance
- Taking action to achieve results beyond what is required and setting expectations of continued improvement
- Leads by example when establishing team expectations
- Continually encourages and maintains a strong positive presence for team members
- Develop connection to reporting agents beyond performance and ability to create a team environment
- Establishing an action plan for self and team members to meet goals and expectations by setting priorities, identifying barriers
- Consistently setting, tracking, achieving, and exceeding individual and team goals
- Understand how role drives success for the entire business
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or above
- 5-7 years of managing a team including experience managing managers/supervisors
- Health insurance sales experience a plus
- Business-minded and can articulate sales team performance from a business standpoint (productivity, profit/loss, agent costs, etc.)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to coach and develop
- Thrives in fast-paced, exciting, and performance-driven environment
