Director of Special Projects - divvyDOSE

Full-time; Exempt

Location: Preferred Chicago, IL; Nashville, TN; Davenport, IA; Iowa City, IA

We are currently looking for a Director of Special Projects that will oversee multiple projects simultaneously and be involved in the development and execution of key initiatives across the divvyDOSE Operations Team. This role will work cross functionally across the organization to make sure project strategies and deadlines are being met. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of operations, can see the overall vision across an organization and has an appreciation for the process it takes to get projects completed from creation to completion.

Reporting to the COO, this person will:

  • Lead the operational projects as we scale divvyDOSE; determined by Senior Leadership and across our entire Operations business unit: pharmacy fill operations, new customer onboarding, and existing customer relations.
  • Monitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentations for senior management on current state of projects
  • Regularly apprise leadership of project status and variations from schedule or scope
  • Scope, plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Utilize data and analytics to measure past performance and anticipate future project needs
  • Manage complex and cross-functional team efforts, and be responsible for the result
  • Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate updates across all levels of leadership
  • Identify product technical capabilities and map them to go-to-market opportunities
  • Full life cycle of process development: define gaps between current state and optimal state, determine needs to overcome gap, and execute to achieve optimal state

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree from a leading undergraduate institution or equivalent work experience
  • MS, PhD, or MBA preferred
  • 6+ years of relevant business experience in a fast-paced, hyper-growth organization
  • Experience in business development, strategy, and operations
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Excellent relationship management, interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills, and ability to work in fast-moving organizations with rapidly changing priorities
  • Travel requirement varies based on office location
