Department OverviewThe Software Enterprise Deployment and Integration team is the team that delivers solutions to the public safety sector. We are committed to providing technology and tools which will allow customers to focus on their mission, and enable them to respond faster with smarter and safer decisions. We deploy and support products such as Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management Systems, Jail Management Systems and Mobile Data Computing, among other offerings.
Job Description
Deployment focused department responsible for configuration and deployment of CAD, RMS, GIS, and Reporting solutions to Public Safety Departments.
Job responsibilities:
Provides workflow advisory to customers on how products in the Motorola Solutions Software Enterprise portfolio can be integrated into a customer's workflow. Helps a customer identify how to use the products and leverage the features. Shows a customer how a product fits into their workflow and/or helps them amend their workflow to support usage of the new software tools. works with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of workflows, business/technical requirements and needs of the software. Works with the customer to understand deep business requirements as it relates to MSI applications. Includes requirements documentation, implementation, verification, training and support.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in one of the following: Public Safety, Business Analysis, Field Service, CAD- Computer Aided Dispatch, Record Management Systems, and Jail Applications
- Technical expert in Flex Applications.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in order to respond to RFP’s and/or assist in the migration quotes of our current customers.
- Ability to work a project independently in a fast paced environment .
- Must be able to execute, review, and modify Acceptance Test Plans.
- Proficient in installation of one or more MSI Client Application Installation.
- Create and deliver standardized training (both LMS and onsite)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel
- Must be able to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
Basic Requirements
5+ years experience in installation and/or deployment.
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
