What You'll Do:
Ensure effective and consistent project management for all the security program and all information security projects from initiation through completion.
- Act as lead project manager for program to achieve ISO 27001 compliance
- Establish and maintain a standard Project Management approach based on agile practices for information security projects, including project creation, assignment and completion.
- Lead SOP change requests including: maintaining project plan and project risks, identifying and requesting resources, ensuring team members understand roles and responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of requests, and functioning as the single point of escalation.
- Providing mentoring and guidance to other Project Managers and Business managers.
- Provide Project Management support for Governance projects including risk management-related processe
- Timely completion of information security projects
- Continual maintenances of the risk management processes, and KPIs
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management
- 2+ years of experience managing security certification, assessment and/or controls improvement efforts
- 1+ year of agile experience
- Skills or interests related to information security
- ISO 27001/2 experience preferred
- Skills in working in a distributed matrixed organizational environment
- Basic knowledge security and compliance standards such as HIPAA, NIST, PCI DSS, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and expert team player with demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships
- Ability to effectively execute and drive cross functional teams in a fast paced startup environment
- University/College Degree
Nice-to-have's:
CISSP, CISA, CISM or other security certification preferred
