Listings Manager
As Listings Manager at Compass, you will lead the Listings Team and Compass efforts to ensure all property listings go to market efficiently, effectively and compliantly. The Listings Team facilitates all the events needed to bring a listing to market, resolving both real estate & technical issues and brainstorming innovative big-picture solutions. Managing the Listings Team also includes maintaining and growing the company’s listings database and outlets for listing exposure. You will have the opportunity to define and improve processes that impact all operational departments at Compass. You will guide the Listings Team by driving best practices, fostering a collaborative environment, and developing individuals. Your efforts will not only drive consumer traffic and provide agents with a robust database – they will directly impact Compass's presence in the market.
At Compass you will:
- Manage overall Listings Team operations and provide leadership to all team members
- Oversee and refine existing processes to bring listings to market
- Develop and maintain data collection systems and other strategies that optimize data quality
- Devise and implement strategies to perform qualitative and quantitative verification checks for compliance and accuracy of our listings
- Troubleshoot data feeds by reviewing listings and system tools to locate and identify corrections for code problems
- Professionally handle incoming requests from agents and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly
- Pinpoint key issues and gaps in the listings database
- Manage relationships with regional & national databases and vendors for accurate syndication
What we're looking for:
- 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a project management role and/or sales or leasing function in the real estate space
- Experience in residential brokerage and prior exposure to MRED/MLS and other real estate data feeds preferred
- BA or BS degree with strong academic record
- Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Continuous desire to improve existing processes
- Self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and problem-solve with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and out of multiple offices when needed
