Job Summary:
We are a dynamic, global organization seeking a forward thinking Project/Process Manager. The successfulcandidate should be able to serve as a liaison between DFIN and Offshore operations and provide guidance forboth operations/ongoing project management and Client Success activities. The successful candidate will meetthe requirements below:
- Knowledge of Financial Services industry, its standards and processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that handles time sensitive and secure transactions
- Must possess strong people management skills
- Previous experience / general understanding of client focused solutions and account management
- Knowledge and understanding of tasks that may include but not limited to project management, strategicplanning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing
- Excellent project management skills is a must
- Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously
- Domestic and international Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) experience
- Detail-orientated and able to support a team of client service specialists
- Excellent writing skills are essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including a firm and patient demeanor
- Ability to anticipate customers’ needs and match them with appropriate products and services
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
- Bachelors degree or 5-7 years of relevant industry BPO work experience or demonstrated ability to meetthe job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience
Responsibilities:
Service Delivery
- Understand client work demands and ensure on-site, near-site and offshore teams meet outlined servicecommitments and expectations
- Participate in weekly/monthly meetings with service and/or management teams. Assist in the creation ofoperational action plans and issue resolution
- Establish SLA reporting with operations team, deliver as agreed upon with manager. Review and interpretinformation to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Work with operations team to coordinate the development of a process improvement plan to enhanceoperational and financial performance
- Provide forecast and track/analyze cost variance. Review service gross margin and work with managementand operations on plans to improve profitability
Employee / Team Development
- Provide guidance to the day-to-day management of activities
- Set direction and provide oversight into key DFIN internal activities to ensure consistency, accuracy, andcompliance across all products and service. These activities include:
- Schedule and conduct periodic meetings with senior management to understand the currentbusiness landscape, as well as upcoming changes. Understand the impact on the client’senvironment and services provided by DFIN
- Coordination and delivery of Quarterly Business Reviews across products and services within scopeof responsibility
- Understand the DFIN’s long-term objectives and work to define and develop relevant goals andinitiatives
- Coordinate reviews of operational metrics, translate metrics to business information, and oversee thedevelopment of resulting action plans. Facilitate operational planning for upcoming business events
- Provide 'thought leadership' by coordinating and researching benchmarking studies / whitepapers,delivering presentations on strategic topics related to the services provided and consult on bestpractices provided by DFIN
- Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders, enabling issues and opportunities to be addressedwith a spirit of partnership

Solutions Development/Implementation
- Apply process, technology and staffing knowledge to develop solutions for existing and new processes
- Gain a deep understanding of the services that are delivered to our clients and make recommendations toenhance the process in turn bringing added value to the client relationship
- Provide oversight to ensure that client requirements are understood including service solution, requiredtimeline, procurement needs, staffing requirements, service levels, etc.
- Serve as an escalation point for process implementations
