The Getaways team at Groupon focuses on one of the most dynamic industries there is - travel. But we're not your typical travel platform. We work to create packages that delight both hoteliers and Groupon subscribers alike. We build relationships big and small, working with large hotel chains to boutique Bed & Breakfasts, crafting every deal by listening to the needs of the business. Our obsession is putting together offerings that will delight our customers and help them make life less boring.
As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for processing business activities related to the Getaways deal pipeline. This includes, but is not limited to promotion creation, processing internal customer requests and troubleshooting. You will serve as the go-to person between our onboarding team and internal customers to ensure the support process is frictionless.

You'll spend time on the following:
Manage the promotion creation process by utilizing automated applications
Process internal customer ticket requests related to rate and deal setup updates while meeting service level agreements
You will troubleshoot issues with deal setup and provide guidance to internal customers regarding processes
Identify and present improvements to the deal pipeline workflow
Handle time-sensitive requests using multiple tools
Identify and provide solutions to big-picture and small-picture problem trends
Troubleshoot technical issues as required within internal tools and products
Prioritize multiple workflows based on urgency and business needs
We're excited about you if you have:
1-3 years professional experience
Bachelor’s degree
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills
You're comfortable with ambiguity yet can also work with established metrics and goals
You should be curious, autonomous and have a strong sense of ownership and desire to improve process
Ability to work independently and meet high productivity and quality expectations
You are flexible to occasionally provide after-hours support when needed
Experience within a content management system and previous utilization of Excel macros preferred, but not required
Ability to navigate through the Salesforce interface
