Job Description

This position is open to remote candidates based in the US. 

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Vesta Solutions, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions operates our Next Generation Core Services business delivering NG9-1-1 call traffic from carriers to Public Safety Answering Points. The NGCS Operations Analyst will report to the Director of NGCS Operations.

The NGCS Operations Analyst is responsible for allocating all necessary resources to meet project objectives, corporate financial, and customer satisfaction goals. The NGCS Operations Analyst evaluates, analyzes, and develops business processes and methodologies to implement and enhance cost-effective standard operating procedures. The NGCS Operations Analyst will also audit existing procedures for effectiveness and compliance, investigates and develops solutions to operational business needs, and ensures business operations support the strategic plan. Operational and business processes can include, but are not limited to, Circuit Inventory Management, Infrastructure Inventory Management, Infrastructure Warranty Management, Vendor and Partner Management, Compliance Audit SOPs, and Operational Efficiency and Planning Services.

The NGCS Operations Analyst will be proactive in managing the resources available to support the businesses needs. They will regularly review service information and quality reports to determine an ongoing course of action and is expected to communicate to relevant senior stakeholders internally by conducting project reviews throughout the life of the project. The NGCS Operational Analyst will need to work closely with other internal NGCS departments and Motorola Solutions organizations such as finance, procurement, contracts, and regulatory and compliance.

The NGCS Operations Analyst is also responsible for carrier / network management of all our network circuits that we leverage for our NGCS service including supporting ordering, tracking subscription terms, ongoing payments, renewals, pricing negotiations, and network performance. The NGCS Operations Analyst will work closely with the NGCS Network Services Team third party contractors, the local service provider(s) and other vendors. 

Qualifications:

Bachelors' degree with at least 2 years of experience as a Project Analyst / Business Analyst in a high-tech environment.

Must be able to utilize PM tools (schedule, critical path analysis, budget, change order, risk assessment, procurement, action item log, etc), as well as Operations specific tools such as circuit and spare inventory systems, to analyze complex issues and develop resolutions for any issues related to assigned project(s).


Basic Requirements

Bachelors' degree with at least 2 years of experience as a Project Analyst / Business Analyst in a high-tech environment.
