Role Description

The Operations Partner for expansion is a key contributor to our regional leadership teams at Oak Street Health. This person champions the organization's mission to provide high quality clinical care by leading the training, enrichment and implementation of a strong clinical care model at new centers. The primary focus of this role is to support operational excellence from day one by ensuring new center staff have the structure needed for effective and safe care delivery as new Oak Street Health sites open their doors. 

In this role, this person will:

Expansion:

  • Partner with regional leaders by providing both remote and onsite support as new locations open

  • Coordinate closely with the Clinical Quality team and Quality RN for Expansion to complete a checklist of pre-opening, opening, and post-opening tasks for each new location

  • Assess, develop, and implement tracking tools and resources that support expansion efforts throughout the year

  • Provide ongoing on-site support through 30/60/90 day operational excellence audits 

  • Support the activation of new centers through on-site inventory stocking and equipment set-up

Service as a clinic operations champion:

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource of the Care Model including key clinical and service team positions, workflows, and goals

  • Contribute to our operations playbook to promote consistency in training and operations across our sites

  • Promote process adherence by offering training and workflow guidance on existing and new initiatives

  • Serve as a service and clinical team cohort advocate in the development and refinement of care team tools 

Support process improvement efforts: 

  • Support in-house process improvement efforts to enhance the quality of our programs and care model by diagnosing gaps and inefficiencies and recommending solutions

  • Lead teams through process mapping and other improvement efforts

  • Collaborate with colleagues across clinics and markets to identify and share best practices 

This role works closely with the Quality Nurse for Expansion and reports to the Director of Clinical Operations

  • Group facilitation and presentation skills 

  • Ability to strive in a fast-paced environment with high levels of ambiguity

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and conflict resolution skills

  • Willingness to be a hands-on, proactive team member

  • Dedication to our mission and values

Minimum requirements: 

  • Bachelor degree preferred

  • Ability to travel 75% of the time 

  • US work authorization
