What you will be doing:
As a Physician Engagement Lead, you will be responsible for managing consulting projects with physician leaders and senior hospital administrators focused on driving evidence-based decision-making. You will partner closely with Lumere’s medical device and pharmaceutical experts, analytics team, and client success team to apply Lumere’s expertise and tools to improve clients’ clinical outcomes and financial health.

The successful candidate is a collaborative, energetic problem solver with a passion for transforming the current healthcare system. They should have a proven track record of managing strategic and operational projects, with a focus on driving both business impact and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage Lumere consulting engagements from end-to-end, including:
    • Project scoping
    • Work plan development and management
    • Stakeholder identification & engagement
    • Coordination of Lumere’s internal experts and analytical resources
    • Deliverable management
    • Client business impact and satisfaction
  • Develop subject matter expertise to drive problem solving and client decision-making; focus areas include:
    • Device utilization and cost reduction within supply chain
    • Care redesign and clinical variation reduction
    • Using purchasing and EHR analytics for decision support
  • Build trust and authentic relationships needed for clients to take your advice and suggestions; shape and broaden our clients’ perspectives
  • Develop new ways of analyzing, organizing, and distributing data that creates meaning across multiple levels of stakeholders
  • Translate client feedback into actionable product roadmaps for Lumere, working with our product, marketing, and sales teams to advise on aligning our messaging with our ability to address health system challenges

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in healthcare technology and/or management consulting, with track record of leading projects with high business impact and client engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree; science or healthcare focus preferred
  • Experience building and managing VP/executive-level client relationships
  • Distinctive problem solving and project management skills, including attention to detail
  • Excellent ability to self-manage and prioritize
  • Comfort with ambiguity, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and shares an excitement to lead change!

  • Ability to travel to client sites as necessary (approx. 20-30% travel)
