The Program Manager of Regional Solutions role is responsible for supporting the global product management teams across 8 regions and multiple business verticals to increase productivity and effectiveness. Fundamental to the role is

• driving consistency across the regional product organisation through driving best practices in product governance and process management,

• managing the product development process across regions

• leading program management for product launches and development

• maintaining a and evolving transparent and efficient process for tracking and communicating business and operational performance

• identifying, managing and escalating risks.

• leading annual 3 year planning processes and supporting strategic initiatives

Underpinning the practices is a strong risk management competency, ensuring consistent application of risk identification, control and remediation.

The position is required to draw on strong analytical skills and financial experience to drive business performance by taking financial, operational and risk perspective to analyse the effectiveness of our products, solutions, and team operational processes.

On a strategic level, the Product Operations role will also contribute to product strategy development by assisting Product Managers, Product Owners and Sales to assess the market size and potential, analysing customer needs and competitive dynamics. The Product Operations role will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to harvest best practices from other regional Product Operations leads to help ensure consistency and evolution of product operational processes.

What You'll Bring

Own and manage the consistent application and ensure compliance with the product governance framework, policies and standards, to ensure all products operate as required throughout the full lifecycle of the product.

Ensure that all of our products and services treat customers fairly and identify process improvements to identify, enforce and improve fair outcomes for consumers.

Assist the Product Management team to develop market insights that inform the formulation of product strategy and drive innovation/ideation.

Support the 3YP planning cycle by enhancing forecasting and drive alignment with other stakeholders.

Govern New Product Development and product enhancement across the life cycle, leveraging financial skills to assess commercial viability of product initiatives, help to shape value propositions.

Deliver regular product performance reports and dashboards covering product performance reports, product/customer project dashboards, product/customer queries and issues dashboards, risk management and performance and general performance insights.

Drive financial and other analysis to generate improved understanding of product profitability, data ROI, product project ROI, channel performance, and value-based pricing.

Assist Product Owners and Managers to respond effectively and efficiently to customer queries, and drive effective resolution across the organisation. 

Serve as project manager for key projects, including the assessment, customisation and implementation of global programmes and initiatives.

Extract sample and customised reports for Product teams where requested. 

Support product owners and managers with product administration including product maintenance and customer management activities.

Support product knowledge management, ensuing that the Product team has an effective and efficient KM repository (aligned to TU International) and that this is kept up to date and readily accessible.

Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Contribute to the development of a risk awareness culture through effective role modelling of risk behaviours and actions.

Ensure the principal risks within their area of responsibility are identified, assessed and appropriately managed, monitored and reported within risk appetite and on an ongoing basis.

Ensure the delivery of consumer fair outcomes and act as a role model to develop and embed a fair outcomes culture across the regional ISG.

Impact You'll Make

3-4 years’ experience in Finance, Analytics, BI or portfolio management environment

Desirable

Exposure to consulting, product management and strategy development work

Experience of working in a matrix organisation

Experience of working in a regulated environment

Excellent communication, relationship building and presentation skills

Excellent analytical and planning skills

Strong commercial acumen

Strategic thinking

Ability to read, analyse and interpret financial reports and data
