We are only successful if our customers are - we take pride in working together to achieve excellence. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager who stays calm under pressure, is able to drive demanding customers, and can communicate equally between hard-nosed tech specialists and the folks in suits from corporate development. You will be based in our Chicago office.

Reporting to the Global Director of Project Management, you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of the US program of projects. In this role, you will be expected to learn fast, and predict the future. You are a relentless organizational mastermind and are enthralled about all things tech, innovation, and project management. 

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the US Project Management team and projects; oversee multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity. Set clear goals and objectives with team members, collaborate sharing the same project vision and work together to achieve objectives. Oversee task execution, financial and status reporting, and partner & vendor coordination using a robust procedural and governance structure.
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders throughout the customer journey from sales directors & software engineering leads through to partners and customer support teams.
  • Create a collaborative partnership among executive leaders and project stakeholders both internal and external and enable resource demand planning, change management, and project pipeline planning decisions.
  • The project lead works directly with relayr teams and external partners (vendors) and ensures all projects are properly documented and remain within budget. Track and sign off on financial project reports; invoices.
  • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting for projects and programs within the US.
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of the US program status throughout its life cycle.
  • Be the first escalation point in the US for all project related escalations.
  • Contribute to the decision making in the  RFP processes for existing and new outsourcing initiatives and services.
  • Develop strategic initiatives together with the Project Director to further refine and improve processes, reporting, and project management processes.
  • Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities with a shared aim of building a great team culture.
     

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in business or related field
  • 5 years of experience in a Program Management role and leading a team
  • 10 Years experience working in Project Management 
  • Managed programs with budgets up to $10m
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Strong business application skills with experience of working with Google Suite of Applications, in particular Google Drive, Confluence, Jira, Slack and able to work with intuitive applications
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills; Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Analytical thinker with an eye for detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
