Project Manager
The Sales Operations Project Manager will have ownership and responsibility for identifying, leading, managing and delivering core programs and services that are essential to the success of the Local sales team. This role will focus on project managing both business and product related projects with cross functional teams. This will include managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects, project tracking from initiation to completion, and working closely with business leaders on a regular basis to ensure successful and consistent communication throughout each project. As a member of the Lead Management team under Sales Operations, this individual’s core area will focus on lead allocation for the Local sales team. This includes building a consistent framework and incorporating best practices for an automated lead assigner, as well as establishing fundamental structure for the Business Development and Merchant Development teams.
Responsibilities:
Proactively identify, scope, plan, recommend and implement changes and new tools to improve operational efficiencies and drive growth within the Local teams.
Manage and implement the launch of new programs, concepts, and products
Lead concurrent projects with cross-functional teams in a fast paced environment, while maintaining superior communication and documentation
Design communication and training strategies, including identifying the appropriate learning process, timing, execution, and delivery
Facilitate and directly drive critical issue resolution and eliminate roadblocks. Serve as the key escalation point for all critical issues and initiatives.
Establish strong working relationships with sales senior leadership to support strategic operational changes
Manage and drive adoption of automated lead assigner
Build quarterly ops priorities for automated lead assigner in conjunction with department leaders including Supply Intelligence, Business Development and Merchant Development
Work schedules may change based on evolving business needs.
Qualifications and Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a business related field (Management, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Technology) preferred
3+ years of overall business experience, demonstrating ability to drive continuous improvement projects in a sales or other customer-facing role
2+ years experience where strong execution was necessary to drive business results in a fast-paced and demanding setting
Strong problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organization, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work independently and escalate concerns to your manager swiftly
Expert organizational and documentation skills necessary for proficiently and diligently executing programs, processes and strategies
Analytical skills, project management expertise and strategic vision
Advanced written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present to large groups
Ability to lead, manage, persuade, and interact with sales, product, and organizational leaders effectively
