Who you are

  • Project management professional with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field; PMP certification a plus
  • 5+ years project management experience in in-house agency, marketing department or ad agency with direct responsibilities related to marketing & creative initiatives
  • Project workflow management solution expert; specifically with Workfront or similar solutions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Working knowledge of creative development process
  • Extremely organized with acute attention to detail and proven track record for completing all project needs in alignment with goals, objectives, timelines and budget
  • A champion for process with ability to identify process improvements and recommend viable methods to implement
  • Time management master who can prioritize tasks in accordance with urgency and complexity as well as pivot focus as needed
  • Strong communicator to relay project goals, objectives, tactics and resources to internal and external team members and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Skilled at keeping composure during high stress or challenging situations
  • Thrive in ultra fast paced environment 

What you’ll do

The project manager is responsible for ensuring successful project execution by managing the entire lifecycle of projects and initiatives that the marketing team delivers. This includes collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure that project goals & objectives are met within assigned scope, timeframes and budget while maintaining Trunk Club’s standards for creativity, innovation and excellence. This ideal candidate will have experience as a project manager for an in-house agency, marketing department or full-service agency. Candidates possessing experience with Workfront will receive top consideration.

Responsibilities include

  • Work cross-functionally with internal clients to determine project scope and identify viable solutions to successfully accomplish such needs; set expectations with project stakeholders
  • Create project task requirements, timelines, deadlines & tracking within project workflow tools
  • Oversee project execution by managing project deliverables through internal and external resources, identifying appropriate resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities 
  • Schedule and document kickoff & review meetings to gain alignment on overall project deliverables, ensure project is pacing appropriately and clarify any questions 
  • Develop and oversee timelines and milestones to ensure that projects are on track for on-time delivery; manage and communicate changes to the project scope and project schedule with key stakeholders
  • Define and track project budgets to keep internal stakeholders aware of estimated and final costs
  • Keep project owners and other key stakeholders apprised of project status at regular intervals; communicate any problems or issues that could impact timeline or agreed upon deliverables
  • Proactively recommend & implement improvements to workflow process that streamline end-to-end project lifecycle
  • Track metrics and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure project and deliverable success
