An Insider's view of Trading Technologies

What’s the vibe like in the office?

Friendly and with great camaraderie, teams brainstorm together to solve issues, and often gather around the game room or whiteboards to collaborate. It’s no surprise to find my team filming engaging vidoes around the office for companywide meetings, but by 4:00 or 5:00 pm, most people are meeting at the onsite bar for a drink before heading home.

Head of Culture

What does your typical day look like?

We kick-off our day with a team scrum meeting, to give everyone an opportunity to share challenges and collaborate with details of ongoing projects. From there, we rotate dispatch and on-call responsibilities for round-the-clock support, which empowers each engineer to focus on special projects as well as maintain focus on family or personal life.

Manager of Systems Engineering

How does the company support your career growth?

TT supports employees through an ongoing process of promoting from within. TT invested in my career by continually taking me to the next level - from Service Desk Team Lead, to Systems Administrator, and now my current role as a Systems Engineer. Although my hard work painted the end picture, TT provided me with the canvas and the brushes to do so.

Systems Engineer

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

As part of Engineering, it is not uncommon to have help and participation in test case review and feedback from the Product or Development teams. Likewise, we all contribute to thoroughness of Feature Requirements and Design Reviews. Part of what makes TT special is the "we're in this together" mentality that goes into the development lifecycle.
