Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations the Proposal Specialist will help support the increased RFP opportunities support for Paylocity’s Mid-Market and Enterprise sales teams. Influence sales through compelling proposal content, project manage and collaborate cross-functionally to complete complex RFPs and join a dynamic marketing team driving new initiatives and opportunities for growth and development.

What you'll do:

• Vet incoming mid-market and enterprise-level RFP opportunities 

• Analyze submitted documents for scope of service, deliverables, red flags, and product gaps

• Identify current and potential stakeholders, set up kick off and status calls to assign deliverables

• Completing deal-winning RFPs in an effective and timely manner

• Build, write, edit full RFP responses for sales reps to submit 

• Utilize Loopio RFP management software to project manage and automate processes 

• Working with various members of organization to identify needed data points for proposals and RFPs

• Work with sales reps to finalize documents handoff for submission 

• Co-manage content library in Loopio 

• Support additional marketing initiatives as needed

What you bring: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or related field, preferred

• 2-4 years of proposal writing and coordination/report writing/technical writing experience preferred

• 2-4 in a corporate environment a plus

• Exceptional writing, editing, and document organization skills

• A proactive, logical approach to project management and problem solving

• Resiliency and the ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• The drive to learn and be resourceful in order to figure out solutions independently

• Experience and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office

• Experience using Loopio, a plus 

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
