Role Description:
The Provider Engagement Specialist will focus on: building out our education programs for Trainees and NP/PA students, and will also support Provider Engagement initiatives.
Reports to the Senior Vice President of Provider Services
Collaborates closely with Executive Medical Directors and the Chief Medical Officer on graduate medical education initiatives
High visibility role with opportunity to interface with senior leadership
Core Responsibilities:
Support existing Residency and NP/PA program relationships:
Work with Program Coordinators to place 40+ Trainees and 30+ NP/PA students at Oak Street centers per year
Act as a liaison between Oak Street and program coordinators to collect all compliance paperwork prior to scheduled rotation
Lead virtual orientation for all Trainees and NP/PA students
Collaborate with Oak Street providers to continuously update and modify curriculum for our Trainees and NP/PA students
Assist the Provider Services Team in resident recruitment
Coordinate and host Oak Street Health open houses/recruiting events
Manage and oversee the Targeted Resident Recruitment Initiative
Attend local and national conferences for provider/resident recruitment
Work with Regional teams to develop additional Residency and NP/PA relationships across our 9 regions
Continuing Medical Education (CME)
Partner with Northwestern on CME for 350+ providers twice a year
Run the application pre and post process for CME accreditation
Manage and execute Grand Rounds events, including logistics and partnering with venue event managers
Input and analyze Grand Rounds survey data to develop reports on provider engagement using Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel
Operate and enhance CME Offerings for Oak Street Health medical group
Keep offerings booklet up-to-date
Share CME opportunities in monthly provider newsletter
Maintain CME inquiries throughout the network
Partner with Fellowship Director to manage Fellowship for Value Based Care
Develop curriculum, and marketing materials to improve engagement
Work with program ambassadors to get the word out across residency programs
Work with Fellowship Director to develop rotations, consistency in clinical placements, and work as a liaison between Oak Street and Kellogg
Develop and oversee project plans for education related initiatives
Serve as program manager for Oak Street Health's Well-Being Committee
Maintain the program charter
Take meeting notes
Serve as a liaison between the American Medical Association and Oak Street Health for the Joy in Medicine Recognition program
Support the Oak Street Health Early Career Physician Program
Offer structured training and support for the numerous new physicians who join Oak Street Health from postgraduate training programs
Coordinate work for the Provider Group Administration Committee, the team who guides the structure of the provider group at Oak Street Health

Proficiency with standard commercial Office Suite, especially Google Apps for Business and Microsoft Office
Attention to detail in the creation of formal documents and letters regarding physician credentials
Highly professional communication skills, comfortable networking with senior physicians and other healthcare executives
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
US work authorization
