Job Description

We’re looking to add a Software Project Manager to work alongside our Design and Engineering teams to identify opportunities and execute successful technical projects throughout all of our products and services. We're looking for someone with a multidisciplinary skill set and ability to work with company leadership to drive product initiatives and then lead those efforts through the full project lifecycle. You'll be responsible for creating project plans, maintaining project schedules, and communicating with engineers, designers, and company stakeholders as you execute on said plans. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for solving complex problems that span multiple teams and skill sets. You're able to communicate on a technical level with engineers, on a product level with designers, and on a strategic level with company management and stakeholders. Most importantly, you are very excited to join our small but growing team and take on whatever comes up on a given day to get the job done. 

What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of project management and related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Experience leading agile software development teams, ideally in a start-up environment
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and engineering best practices
  • A data-driven mindset and experience with decision analysis tools and methods

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate internal resources and vendors for seamless execution of projects
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time and within scope
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed
  • Constantly evaluate and manage risks with project delivery
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with stakeholders
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs
Bonus If You Have It 
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following - Pivotal Tracker, Notion, LucidCharts, Figma
