As a IOT Solution Engineer, you will assist our engineering team in identifying the best fit to customer on-site needs, bridging the physical and digital world with a product-oriented approach. You will also collaborate with the product development teams to align roadmaps, provide meaningful feedback, and insight on required features. Lastly, you will work closely with the global Engineering organization to provide feedback and technical support as needed.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable services and dashboards using relayr's cloud, components, and modules
• Identify the best fit to customer on-site needs, bridging the physical and digital world with a product-oriented approach
• Manage the integration of field elements, towards building reusable use-cases and solutions, to address current and future customer’s needs
• Build and manage the sensor data acquisition and delivery to cloud
• Sync with the product development teams to align roadmaps, provide meaningful feedback and insight on required functionality
• Provide feedback and technical support to the engineering organization

Our Expectations:

• Undergraduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial related projects
• Proven knowledge and experience with industrial technologies and protocols (Modbus, Profinet, etc.)
• Proven experience working with field elements (sensors, actuators, PLCs)
• Proven electronic skills (oscilloscope, multimeter, electronic testing, schematic reading)
• Experience with script programming (bash) and programming languages such as C/C++ and python
• Basic networking and Linux skills
• Experience with IoT hardware platforms is a plus
• Knowledge and experience with IoT protocols and standards (MQTT, REST, 6LoWPAN, LoRa, BLE) is a plus
• Knowledge and experience with industrial technologies and protocols (Modbus, Profinet, sensors, actuators, PLCs) is a plus
• Willingness to travel (after COVID-19 restrictions are lifted)
