What will your day look like?
You will be responsible for developing and implementing digital banking innovations and enhancements to meet the strategic, financial, and member experience goals of the digital credit union. This individual plays a critical role in keeping the credit union at the forefront of usable new technologies that will help us meet or exceed consumer expectations around user experience (UX) and easy banking. This leader will be responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of our digital banking acquisitions & sales, onboarding, engagement, loyalty and retention product ownership. This individual has a passion for the customer experience and providing customer-centric banking products via technology. General direction is received from the VP, Head of Digital.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver strategic leadership in the development and implementation of a clear vision and roadmap of the evolution of digital account opening, onboarding, engagement, loyalty and retention through digital channels
- Provide leadership and oversight of the development, design, implementation, troubleshooting and training of new functionality or changes
- Increase adoption of online and mobile banking and increase conversion rates for membership and product openings via digital banking channels
- Lead agile planning and communications with internal stakeholders including other digital product teams, operations, member contact center, deposit products, lending products, technology, compliance, legal and others
- Track and report against goals and objectives (Key Performance Indicators) to the organization
- Provide guidance and direction to a team of digital product owners
- Partner with development, data, quality assurance (QA), marketing, security and business intelligence (BI) teams
- Proactively manage all development and design partners or agencies
- Conduct ongoing analysis of member-facing systems and releases in order to find areas of opportunity and to measure feature-functionality success
- Develop financial services market intelligence and competitive landscape analysis
- Follow consumer behavior and usability trends as well as new technologies in the fintech, payments and ecommerce spaces
Leadership and Performance Management Responsibilities:
- Directly manage a team of digital product owners, and their agile product teams made up of cross-functional team members
- Provide business vision by creating imagery and transparency in the possibilities, opportunities and direction of the future
- Demonstrate courage, ability and agility to understand and address organizational transition in real-time; establishing expectations for the unexpected
- Capture, analyze, and understand the internal environment, team dynamics, and talent capabilities to address organizational refinement, agility and growth
- Champion Employee/Internal Customer Engagement, employee development and all cultural hallmarks through a strong leadership signature and a growing command of Alliant’s leadership competencies
- Continually assess and provide discerning development, insightful coaching and talent utilization/optimization of subordinate leaders of others
- Apply High Performance Management practices in leading an engaged workforce in order to effectively leverage the full potential and talent of the function
- Provide a structural and consistent approach to ensure that individual development plans are in place, performance management is consistent, performance management process is respected and followed, and coaching and feedback are provided on a regular and dynamic basis
Adhere to and ensure compliance of all business transactions with policy and process of the Bank Secrecy Act. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policies. Maintains integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with Privacy Act directives.
Where permitted by applicable law, successful applicants to this position must either have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered (proof of vaccination is required), or be willing to submit a negative COVID-19 test result in advance of each visit to an Alliant facility.
Qualifications

You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of a BA/BS degree in marketing, business, ecommerce or technical discipline, required; MBA preferred, and you have:
- Prior experience in the fintech, ecommerce, product/channel management, product development, or delivery of online, mobile or consumer facing technologies, required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing consumer-facing applications, ecommerce platforms, or digital products
- 5+ years of prior leadership experience required
- Experience working on iOS, Android, or other mobile software/applications
- Seen as a thought leader in creating best-in-class digital experiences
- Experience coordinating product development cycles and software development schedules
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Strategic thinker who is resourceful driven and takes ownership to deliver results
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on the end user

- Seen as a collaborative, partnership-oriented individual who can work with teams and individuals at all levels of the organization
