A dedicated Program Manager is required to lead the Vendor Lifecycle Management program. This includes financial management, resource management, dependency management, multi-year planning, reporting, stakeholder management, and audit compliance.

The ideal candidate has experience leading very large programs, reporting / communication with both C-Suite and application teams, and understand the complexities of large technology upgrade projects.

Major Duties

  1. Manage a large team of project managers and PMO support staff. Including resource decisions, hiring and onboarding.
  2. Have a full command of the execution of the various program initiatives, work with key partners to resolve and escalate to the program leader as needed.
  3. Lead communication efforts and planning with impacted applications teams / stakeholders.
  4. Prepare materials and run monthly steering committee meeting with technology directors.
  5. Manage all program and project financials and ensure that the program is planning and forecasting realistically.
  6. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business and technology to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
  7. Communication of program objectives, risks, issues and overall status to multiple levels of the organization.
  8. Facilitation of cross discipline (business unit) coordination for decision making regarding scope; prioritization and issue resolution.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change
  • Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Program's goals, structure, budget and resource need
  • People Management skills to assess and develop the skills of staff.
  • Team work skills to drive execution without direct reporting line responsibilities

Experience Required

Seasoned expert with program/project management expertise that has been developed over 15+ years of experience. Technical and/or business knowledge developed through previous industry experience.
