TransUnion (“TU”) has always been considered a technology leader in its core business, and it is embarking on another step in its journey with a multi-year Technology Modernization program. The Technology Modernization program will enable foundational technology and also drive the migration of its applications to the public cloud.
In his/her role, the Vice President, Program Management, will provide strategic direction across the three primary work streams (Program Enablement, Foundation, and Migration Management) and day-to-day management across the five key Program Enablement teams (HR, Legal, Procurement, Communications and Finance)
This new executive position will help evolve TU’s global cloud strategy in partnership with other members of the global technology leadership team, lead the execution of key activities across enablement work streams, deliver executive updates to the CEO and his directs, and serve as the de factor Chief of Staff to the Executive Vice President, Global Technology Architecture (to whom this position will report).

10+ years total experience with a track record of success and promotion in a high-performing professional environment

Be a thought leader in technology trends and drive adoption of new technologies
Ability to manage multiple projects and various deadlines simultaneously
Demonstrated experience in delivering technology solutions in multidivisional, multinational organizations
BS and/or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
We’d Love to See:
Experience guiding an organization through a cloud transformation, including the migration from on-prem data centers to a hybrid cloud
Experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud
Experience working in a matrixed structure with dynamic teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Product Marketing, Operations, Technology/Engineering, and senior executives)
MBA Degree
Impact You'll Make
Lead the Program Enablement work globally
Identifying problems and partnering to solve them across the five enablement teams
Structuring work to hit planning deadlines, drive progress
Work with Foundation and Migration team leadership to ensure successful delivery of applications to the cloud
Be an experienced, as technical-as-possible hands-on senior leader
Lead a variety of cross-functional teams to complete critical initiatives
Provide Chief of Staff level support
Support the enterprise cloud journey - lead and drive cloud strategy along w/ EVP, Global Technology Architecture
Identify emerging challenges, trends, and opportunities as it relates to TU’s cloud strategy
Problem solve and drive to solutions across all teams
Structure key leadership meetings and develop agenda of critical items
Delivering program status updates to key stakeholders
Drive all executive communications to Executive Management and Board of Directors in clear, concise, executive-level formats
People / Resource management
Direct and guide expert employees who exercise significant independence and autonomy in decision making
Ensure existing support and processes continue while technology modernization is rolled out
Manage experienced professionals who exercise high latitude and independence in their assignments
Refine operating policies and procedures that impact multiple disciplines and departments
Exercise full management authority for direct reports, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination, and other personnel actions
Participate with other senior management to establish strategic goals, plans, and objectives
Provide guidance on administrative or procedural matters to ensure operations achieves their objectives
Effectively interact with peers, subordinate management, and senior management concerning projects and operational decisions to ensure effective and efficient processes with successful outcomes
Develop guidelines and procedures to continually support and improve various project processes
