PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for developing and delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout PharmaCann, LLC and increasing PharmaCann’s visibility and reputation as an employer of choice in our locations in Illinois. The Recruiter will achieve success by interfacing with employees and hiring managers to understand and define recruiting needs for all technical and non-technical positions, by developing recruiting strategies, identifying recruiting channels, both traditional and innovative, and sourcing the best possible talent for open positions. The Recruiter will also be responsible for working with the management team to develop practices for successful onboarding of new employees and creating highly satisfied employees.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Utilize ATS system (Greenhouse) to manage Full Cycle Recruiting
  • Responsible for all recruitment activities including, sourcing, screening, and managing candidate and manager relationships, with the goal of hiring top level talent into the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies for identifying and attracting top talent to the PharmaCann team
  • Identify and develop recruiting channels appropriate for differing positions, levels of experience, etc. with an emphasis on reaching passive candidates
  • Maintain an active pipeline of candidates to minimize hiring time
  • Consults hiring managers to understand hiring projections, key qualifications for positions (including desired behavioral traits), draft job descriptions, design interview questions, and select and schedule interview panels
  • Perform key functions in the recruiting process including initial screening interviews, background and reference checking, communicating with candidates, and extending and negotiating employment offers
  • Implement interviewing process to include competency-based interviewing process
  • Establish standardized onboarding practices for all new employees and ensure the smooth and successful onboarding of all new employees
  • Build relationships with local Colleges and Universities
  • Attend career fairs and networking events
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
  • Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of PharmaCann and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration or equivalent degree/experience. Emphasis in human resource management, organizational management, etc. highly desirable
  • 1+ year’s recruiting experience across a wide range of disciplines in a high growth environment
  • Experience with behavioral and competency-based interviewing techniques a plus
  • Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences and Agriculture recruiting experience preferred
  • Familiarity with the use of online recruiting tools, hiring assessment tools, etc.
