This role is within CG's Retail Sales function. A successful incumbent is expected to conduct in-store product knowledge and sales training seminars, maintain in-store service functions, including maintenance of displays, down stocking product to the bay, return-to-vendor of defective products, order and placement of in-store signage and point-of-sale materials and any other assigned service projects and analyze point of sale data to optimize training and service activities and identify opportunities for account managers to act upon and (iv) develop and maintain regional ownership and influence of assigned territory. Requires 0-1 years of relevant work experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-store product knowledge and sales training seminars at Home Improvement and Consumer Electronic retailers on garage door openers and accessories, and myQ smart home products
  • Maintain in-store service functions, including maintenance of displays, down stocking product to the bay, return-to-vendor of defective products, order and placement of in-store signage and point-of-sale materials and any other assigned service projects
  • Ensure department personnel and/or service groups have set stores to authorized plan-o-grams to guarantee bay and off-shelf display integrity
  • Analyze point of sale data to optimize training and service activities as well as identify opportunities for account managers to act upon
  • Regional ownership and influence: Build relationships with store Department Managers, Store Managers, District Managers and Regional Managers within your assigned territory to drive preferential and incremental product placement on a regional basis
  • Utilize salesforce.com CRM to report out on training and service activities, on a per-store and regional basis
  • Host regional leadership events (Regional Vice President Walks) to educate on Chamberlain products and programs
  • Provide market intelligence to account managers on emerging product categories, competitive promos, programs, and merchandising
  • Priority project implementation: Blitz key store markets for new product launches and/or special projects
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 0-1 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Able to travel up to 80% - domestically and internationally; valid driver's license
