Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to understand business and back office requirements.
- Define service scope (statement of work) and corresponding labor estimates to complete assignments.
- Demonstrates ability to estimate and manage work assignments to budget.
- Provide lead technical support in business development opportunities.
- Assist in research of new technologies and trends that might impact our clients and make appropriate recommendations.
- Team leadership, direction, and engagement supervision of Consultants.
- Assist client with compliance areas associated with back office service
- Manage assigned client service engagements
- Execute assigned tasks relating to the client's back office services or as assigned by the Consulting Manager
- Communicate advice and answer questions of client staff relating to client's back office services
- Provide training or assistance to client staff relating to client's back office services
- Perform emergency on-site or remote support as needed as requested by client or other consultants when urgent issues arise.
- Pursue advancement in technical back office service capabilities as well as advancement in "soft skill" competencies
- Mentor other consultants and assist them with client management
Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, with a strong preference to accounting.
- If Candidate's degree is not in accounting relevant accounting focused work experience would be considered
- Ideal candidate would experience implementing Sage Intacct Accounting software or similar mid-market accounting software package.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions
- Effectively explains information through formal presentations.
- Creatively identifies and utilizes effective communication methods and channels.
- Openly discusses real or potential problems with clients or project team members, hearing and understanding what a person tries to say as well as what they said.
- Effectively articulates both the big picture and the details.
- Uses relevant examples, analogies, and personal experiences to clarify ideas.
- Diplomatically handles complex topics, varied audiences, difficult questions, continuous objections, and unexpected situations.
- Actively seeks, discusses, and listens to information and ideas from others.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook

Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate's unique experiences and skill sets. The estimated pay range for this position is: $60,000 to $95,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
