Overview of the Role


As a Sales Development Rep, you will help support activities that generate sales activity by developing new business through curiosity, self-motivation, and enthusiasm for what we do. The SDR is vital in driving high levels of client satisfaction and value and contributes to business growth and profit performance.


All roles are primarily on-site and based in Chicago. Anticipate up to 25% travel. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong energy and hunger to learn Qarik’s service offerings
  • Be intellectually curious and have a passion for technology and Cloud Services, as well as be able to uncover customer business pains quickly
  • Play a key role in building the Qarik brand within Google by helping to support existing relationships and new ones
  • Support sales representatives with a proactive approach to building pipelines and collaborative efforts to build strategies and execute marketing plans.
  • Contact marketing-generated leads and follow a qualification process to identify prospects that are appropriate for sales opportunities 
  • Use analysis, CRM systems, and internet tools to prospect and prioritize sales leads efficiently
  • Demonstrate a consultative selling style that positions Qarik as a trusted and strategic partner
  • Successfully interface with engineers, technical leads, project managers, and the leadership team to promote the best solutions and practices to serve our clients

Ideal Attributes

  • 0-2 years of experience selling technology-enabled services (SaaS, professional services)
  • Self-motivated, energy and enthusiasm balanced with patience and persistence
  • Strong negotiation skills and a passion for sales
  • Ability to manage your work within a very dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, yet prize team collaboration
  • Solid verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to a professional audience
  • Energetic and personable with a professional, can-do attitude at all times
